Dr. Naresh N. Mehta has worked over 36 years as an Industry Professional and 4 years as a Management Consultant in the manufacturing sector of engineering equipment, steel, automobile, plastics, renewable energy, steel foundry, infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, IT and media industries, etc. He has handled various portfolios such as tool design & engineering, product design, manufacturing, shop-floor management during the formative years of his career. He has led profit center operations for several years at senior level positions which include sales and marketing, design and quality control, production planning and control, commercial functions including accounts and finance.
He has led, during the latter part of the career, top management functions such as strategic management and organization transformation which includes Human Resource Management, Organization Development, Operational Excellence, Training, and Development. He has worked with various small, medium, and large scale industries and institutions such as SLM-Maneklal Industries Ltd. Central Institute of Plastics Engineering Technology, Indo German Tool Room, Suzlon Energy Ltd. Electrotherm (I) Ltd., AIA Engineering Ltd., and KYB Conmat Pvt. Ltd. Currently, he is associated with Transformatory as Founder Researcher.
Dr. Naresh N. Mehta is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from L.D. College of Engineering. He is an MBA in Human Resources Management from XLRI Jamshedpur and MBA in Finance from SMU. He has acquired a post-graduate diploma in Training and Development from ISTD. He holds Fellow of AHRD in the area of HR and Organization Development and Ph. D in management from Calorx Teacher’s University.
He has provided multifaceted consulting services to large companies such as Raychem RPG, Shapoorji Pallonji, Cadila Pharmaceuticals small companies such as Rajhans Engineering Pvt., Rabatex Industries Pvt. Ltd, Avocab Cables, NTTF, Orange Techno lab, and Gujarat Samachar Group to name a few.
He conducted Public Workshops in the area of Strategy, Strategic Thinking, and Mindsets High-Performance Work Systems, Whole System Transformation, Strategic Performance Management, Balanced Scorecard, etc. He is also a Management Trainer at Ahmedabad Management Association and Nepal Management Services.
He is a visiting Strategy, HRM, T&D professor at Nirma University, Ganpat University, Indian Institute of Public Health, and an Organization Development professor at Tata Institute Of Social Sciences, Academy of Human Resource Development. He is also a guide to Ph.D. students. He is mentoring young entrepreneurs in their startups and family-owned business. He is on Board for curriculum design with Nirma University, Ganpat University, Indo German Tool Room, and Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology.
